Remote Learning Provision

At St Andrew’s Academy we use Google Classrooms to share pupil’s learning online. In the event of a
school closure, where remote learning is needed, children will be required to log onto their Google
Classroom account to access their tasks and upload work.
In addition, teachers will send links to children from websites and apps that they use in schools, such
as TT Rockstars or Numbots. Teachers may send short videos to children to watch to help them learn
[phonics sounds, for example.
If remote learning was required for an extended time, live Zoom lessons will be organised for your
child to attend.
If parents do not have access to suitable devices they should contact the school and we will do our
best to accommodate you.
